Last Meeting of the year – Let’s wish each other a Virtual Happy Holidays!
The General Meeting will be immediately followed by No Crumbs, the Producer’s Workshop. Anyone currently working on a project is invited. It’s a space to recruit crew, brainstorm solutions, exchange resources, and commune with your fellow filmmakers.

We’re very happy to have had so many members both in attendance and joining virtually at this last General/Producer’s Meeting held June 7th 11am-1pm at MAAG. The room was vibrating with great things to come!

On April 23, 2025 SIFTers and Friends of SIFT were invited to our office @maagrocks to come share Roughcuts, Proof of Concepts or Project Ideas moving to the front burner.
It’s a great way to receive feedback on your work and seek support. Planning for more sessions!
@nikkiharmon19 won an IPMF grant to shoot a scifi/romance based on her novel
@filmphanatic and her AD @freckleandteaproductions have their first season of “A Song For Nia” in post-production
@karmelpeach is working on her Talk Show at @phillycam
@rellewilliams_filmlife has a great script for a Christmas movie
@jasminelynea_ has fab plans for the premiere of her film “Della Can Fly”

In addition, we postponed the Equipment Workshop to combine it with the Gen. Mtg. (See below).

Place: MAAG (7054 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19119)
Come check out all the equipment SIFT owns, which you as a member have access to borrow for shoots.
Asli will also offer some tutorials on a few cameras and go over the new system for renting the inventory.
The workshop will be mainly informal. @maslidukan took on the time consuming task of cataloging all the types of equipment SIFT owns. Then she did extensive research on types of systems/applications for equipment rental. She’ll go over what we went with and how the new procedure works and go over key elements on some of our cameras. Thanks Asli, for your time and attention to this project.
