As filmmakers we should be seeing more films! It’s even better to see them together and then discuss. There are no set meeting dates, we sometimes go to the theater to see a movie together or schedule a watch party online. Some months we see the film individually but set a time to discuss (typically Sunday evening)> Date/Time/Film will be posted here, sent out on email, and posted to socials for each Film Club Meet-Up…

FILM CLUB WILL MEET TWICE THIS TIME – First on Sun. Sept 28th to see the Closing night film at The Women’s Film Festival #TWFF2025 documentary KNOW HER NAME at 7:30pm (FREE TICKETS!) Say you are with SIFT’s Film Club at the door.
Then Next Sunday, October 5th we’ll meet on ZOOM to have our informal discuss of both KNOW HER NAME and our originally picked film for the month Darren Aronofsky‘s CAUGHT STEALING
Film Club Sunday, August 31st Time: 7pm | Place: Virtual on Zoom
We will have a fun, informal discussion of Spike Lee‘s HIGHEST TO LOWEST (in theaters now) and Akira Kurosawa‘s original HIGH & LOW (streaming on HBO MAX and Apple TV $3.99). Try to watch both films to participate in the conversation, but if you just wanna join to listen that’s fine too!
Virtual Meeting Sunday, June 29th 7pm – We will do a Hulu Watch Party for the film EXHIBITING FORGIVENESS with informal discussion to follow on Zoom. Also, if you’ve seen or will see SINNERS, we’ll discuss that movie too! Please email Lisa so she can send you the link!
