The Love Machine [reprise] is a project by jasmine lynea (ATR ’24, ACG ’20) the selected 2024 Leeway x NextFab Art + Technology Artist-in-Residence.

Inspired by jasmine lynea’s sci-fi fantasy short film, The Love Machine, where a teenage scientist and influencer builds a time machine in his basement to help break intergenerational trauma. The Love Machine [reprise] acts as a tangible sequel to the film. The machine is no longer hidden in the basement; it’s the world we call home. It radiates Black memory, joy, love, and wonder, offering a space for reflection and imagination.

The Love Machine [reprise] features a large-scale art installation, diorama, and collage art.

Come celebrate and view jasmine’s work,on display at NextFab from October 9, 2025 through December 11, 2025. Viewing hours: Sunday – Thursday, 10 AM-8 PM. This exhibition is free and open to the public.
