Thank you for your continued support and we hope to see you at our next event Saturday, May 6th – HOW TO SWING A HAMMER: Basic Tool Use and Woodworking Skills
In-Person Workshop: The Asian Arts Initiative 1219 Vine Street Phila, PA 19107
This workshop is designed to educate independent filmmakers, multimedia creatives, and producers on audio equipment choice & use.
Most independent film projects don’t have the luxury of a professional location sound team and top-of-the-line equipment. Failure to capture clean and usable dialogue has been the downfall of many independent projects.
This workshop is designed to educate independent filmmakers, multimedia creatives, and producers on audio equipment choice, use, and selection. This will be a very hands-on class where students will be involved in multiple aspects of production sound. Examples include eliminating time code, shooting a single and double sound system, syncing, and then listening to the results using reference headsets. Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment for demonstration, evaluation, and optimization.
