We were very fortunate to have Michaela Ternasky-Holland come and teach us the basics of Immersive Digital Tools. She’s a bright, knowledgeable, energetic speaker who obviously has found a  passion for Virtual Reality,  XR Cameras and the likes.  She broke it down into bite sized pieces we could ingest and ponder ways in which these seemingly futuristic mediums can enhance our projects.

Michaela-Ternasky-Holland-Color-VR WorkshopCreative strategist and consultant, Michaela Ternasky-Holland, will guide the attendees through a workshop that explores immersive and interactive digital mediums that range from virtual reality to voice recognition. This workshop is designed to activate storytellers to explore the production and creative process in using these tools, as well as equip creators to brainstorm accessible digital experiences for their audience.

Michaela Ternasky-Holland is a multi-racial Emmy, Webby, and Sheffield Doc/Fest award-winning documentarian, who combines experimental content with traditional mediums. She works with clients as a consultant and creative strategist. She is a recognized public speaker who has presented at international conferences, public institutions, and podcasts. Her work has been featured by TIME, Forbes, The Guardian, Cannes Film Festival, New York Public Library, Tribeca Film Festival, and more.

Center for Active Learning is a Brooklyn based 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing low/no cost informal learning opportunities that center creative and health related topics.
